Josh Bentley earned his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in 2013. After teaching for two years at the University of New Mexico, he joined the Department of Strategic Communication at Texas Christian University. He teaches classes in media law and public relations writing. His research focuses on the role of public apologies in crisis communication. He has published articles in Public Relations Review and various other academic journals. Before becoming a professor, Josh worked for radio stations in Alabama, Arkansas, and Oklahoma as a morning show host and production director.
