Three Ways to Submit
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Call for Presentations – (DEADLINE: Dec. 15, 2016)<\/strong>
\nTo submit an abstract to be considered to be a part of the ICRCC, please email it to
\nicrc@ucf.edu<\/a> by Dec. 15, 2016<\/strong> and include “ICRCC 2017 Abstract” in the subject line.
\nAbstracts are not to exceed 500 words. Acceptance of submission requires author
\ncommitment to register and present at the upcoming conference event.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Student Paper Competition – (DEADLINE: Dec. 15, 2016)<\/strong>
\nThe Nicholson School of Communication is awarding a limited number of scholarships for
\ngraduate students who wish to present at the ICRC Conference. Students entering the
\nstudent competition must submit full, completed papers, adhere to the symposium theme
\n\u2014 Bridging the Gaps: Strategic Communication and Mega Crises \u2014 follow APA guidelines
\nand not exceed 20 pages including references, tables and figures etc. Papers should
\nfocus on either crisis or risk and can be completed studies, case studies or analyses of
\ncurrent policies\/practices. Only full papers will be accepted, no abstracts. All papers must
\nbe submitted to icrc@ucf.edu by 11:59 p.m. EST Dec. 15, 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Student Poster Competition – (DEADLINE: Jan. 15, 2017)
\n<\/strong>The 7th<\/sup> Annual International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference at the Nicholson
\nSchool of Communication is calling for student poster submissions adhering to the
\nconference theme Bridging the Gaps: Strategic Communication and Mega Crises. Posters
\ncan focus on either crisis, risk, health or emergency management perspectives of mega
\ncrises and can be completed studies, case studies, or analyses of current
\npolicies\/practices.<\/p>\n

Submit poster title, a 150 to 250 word abstract, and author contact information to
\nicrc@ucf.edu by 11:59 p.m., Jan. 15, 2017<\/strong>. Students whose proposals are accepted will be
\nnotified within a few days to of submission in order to prepare their posters.<\/p>\n

Posters should not be larger than 48\u201dwide x 36\u201dtall (4ftx3ft) in order to fit on the board.
