Likewise, professionals seemed to be sharing with other professionals in a variety of conventions, expos and trade shows driven by vendor sales. \u00a0It was identified that there was a need for expanded idea sharing and conversations to create a new synergy that engaged the perspectives of both practitioners and academics.<\/p>\n<p>Further recognizing that issues surrounding crisis and risk communication are not limited by national boundaries, it seemed that connecting international professionals and research scholars was key to enriching the conversation. The goal to create a \u201cplace and space\u201d where a global audience of professionals and academics could comfortably gather was the motivation to convene the annual International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference.<\/p>\n<p>The vision for the annual ICRC Conference remains consistent with its origin.\u00a0 The priorities remain to keep the conference as a conversational forum, to sustain a climate for personal interaction, to feature leading professionals and top scholars, and to provide information and new ideas that are useful and meaningful to conference participants.<\/p>\n<p>The International Crisis &amp; Risk Communication (ICRC) Conference is held annually on the University of Central Florida campus. The information provided is valuable and the networking opportunities are abundant. Our 2022 conference will be hosted at the Marriott Orlando Downtown between March 7-9, 2022.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"tab-pane container fade py-5\" id=\"spanish\">\n<p>La Conferencia del CICR fue concebida para facilitar la interacci\u00f3n y el debate sobre la comunicaci\u00f3n de crisis y riesgos entre los miembros de las comunidades de investigaci\u00f3n profesional y acad\u00e9mica en campos interrelacionados.<\/p>\n<p>El concepto de una conferencia internacional sobre comunicaci\u00f3n de crisis y riesgos nacio al observar que los investigadores tienden a &#8220;hablar con&#8221; e interactuar  con otros investigadores principalmente en conferencias y reuniones acad\u00e9micas. Del mismo modo, los profesionales parec\u00edan compartir con otros profesionales en una variedad de convenciones, exposiciones y ferias comerciales impulsadas por las ventas de los proveedores.  Se identific\u00f3 la necesidad de ampliar el intercambio de ideas y las conversaciones para crear una nueva sinergia que involucre las perspectivas tanto de los profesionales como de los acad\u00e9micos.<\/p>\n<p>Reconociendo adem\u00e1s que las cuestiones relacionadas con la comunicaci\u00f3n de crisis y riesgos no est\u00e1n limitadas por las fronteras nacionales, parec\u00eda que la conexi\u00f3n de profesionales y acad\u00e9micos de investigaci\u00f3n internacionales era clave para enriquecer la conversaci\u00f3n. El objetivo de crear un &#8220;lugar y un espacio&#8221; en el que una audiencia global de profesionales y acad\u00e9micos pudiera reunirse c\u00f3modamente fue la motivaci\u00f3n para convocar a una Conferencia Internacional de Comunicaci\u00f3n de Crisis y Riesgos anual.<\/p>\n<p>La visi\u00f3n de la Conferencia anual de ICRCC sigue siendo coherente con su origen.  Las prioridades siguen siendo mantener la conferencia como un foro de conversaci\u00f3n, que brinde un clima de interacci\u00f3n personal, presentando a los principales profesionales y a los m\u00e1s destacados acad\u00e9micos, proporcionando informaci\u00f3n y nuevas ideas que sean \u00fatiles y significativas para los asistentes a la conferencia.<\/p>\n<p>La Conferencia Internacional de Comunicaci\u00f3n de Crisis y Riesgos (ICRC por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) se celebra anualmente en el campus de la Universidad de Florida Central. La informaci\u00f3n que se proporciona es valiosa y las oportunidades de establecer contactos son innumerables.
