Since June 2021, he has been spokesperson for the DECIPHER research consortium, which analyzes the communication strategies of governments and health care institutions in six European countries and the USA on Covid-19. Professor L\u00f6ffelholz has conducted numerous research projects, particularly in the areas of journalism, international communication, crisis and war communication, organizational communication, public diplomacy, and military communication, and is the author or (co-)editor of more than 300 scholarly publications, including 18 books.
