Dan Cox received his M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition (2017) and a B.S. in Computer Science (2014) from Old Dominion University. He is currently working towards his PhD here at UCF in the Texts and Technology program with an emphasis in Digital Media. Dan has worked as a web design consultant, WordPress developer, and helped teach faculty through a series of technology and pedagogy-focused workshops as part of his work with the ePortfolio initiative at ODU for several years. His research interests include code pedagogy, interactive fiction, and narrative game authoring tools. He currently works closely with the Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation, serving on committees and helping to organize their annual narrative games conference, NarraScope.
