Biography

Shameika Daye is the Coordinator of Academic Programs at the Nicholson School of Communication and Media. Prior to joining the Nicholson School, she worked at the Office of Student Financial Assistance where she served in many areas concluding as the senior coordinator of scholarships and campus-based aid. Shameika has received both her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.

While working at UCF, Shameika also serves as part of the adjunct faculty staff for the LEAD Scholars Academy and the Strategies of Success course where she was awarded the SLS 1501 2015-2016 Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award! She is a graduate of the 2016-17 Leadership Empowerment Program (LEP).
