Crisis literature endorses having a crisis team with cross-functional representation to deal with crisis. People from functional roles and CEO or representative are identified to be part of the team. Beyond the head quarters of the organisations, a structured team may not exist in all geographies, and may be developed need basis. This research proposes a framework for crisis communications decision making and role for the communications person as part of the crisis team in such markets
