Marc D. David worked for more than 18 years on many projects in public relations and marketing communications before becoming professor of communication at the Université de Sherbrooke, where he teaches strategic communication and marketing communication. His research interests focus mainly on strategic analysis and on the study of the professional practices used in the communications industry. Professor David is the co-founder of the International Network on the Professionalization of the Communicator, which brings together professional researchers and university scholars from France, Belgium, and Canada. Prof. David has collaborated on several collective works and published in national and international journals in communication.
