Biography

Tomasso is a 22-year veteran of the restaurant industry and joined First Watch in 2006 before being promoted to president in 2015, then CEO in 2018. Among other things, Chris led First Watch’s comprehensive multi-year re-branding strategy and during his tenure First Watch has grown from 50 restaurants to more than 400 while delivering double-digit annualized sales growth. Chris earned a B.A. from UCF and is an active alumna who serves on UCF’s Foundation board. He was inducted into the university’s Nicholson School of Communication and Media Hall of Fame in 2016.
