Biography

R. Tyler Spradley, Ph.D. (Texas A&M University), is a Professor of Communication at Stephen F. Austin State University and a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University in the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. He currently serves as Coordinator of the interdisciplinary Leadership Minor as well as the Leadership and the Risk and Crisis Communication Certificates. Dr. Spradley studies organizational and crisis communication. Research can be found in publications such as: The International Encyclopedia of Organizational Communication, Sage Research Methods Cases, Journal of Leadership, Accountability and Ethics, Journal of Human Services, and the International Research Journal of Public Health.
