What time of year is it?

It’s crazy to me that it is almost Thanksgiving already. Usually I wait all year for the holidays to come around and then this year it is as though they have just been sprung upon me. I think this is the product of accomplishing a lot within a year, and for that I am very grateful. Hopefully this is a good sign for years to come. And this will not be an anomaly. With the holidays fast approaching this is probably as good a time as any to partake in a little reflection for the rest of the year ahead.

I now constantly find that it is weird to me not to be busy or for my time not to be occupied.  Consequently this means that I take on way too many projects, stress myself out, and don’t always dedicate enough time to each one. In a way though I feel as though I sort of thrive off of the stress and have become incrementally better at time management – even though it is still a work in progress.

I have met so many great people this year and I am hopeful that I will still continue to meet more! Many of these people I got to know by working on the campaign, and their hard work there definitely let to the admiration that I undoubtedly have of them. Meeting other young people from all across the country who are there to do work to make our country a better place is just a recipe for great friendships.

This little reflection is definitely a good thing for me to do right now so I can finish this year as strongly as it started. There is still a lot on my plate, but assessing where I am is a good place to start that final stretch.
