Not only can you impress your parents, but you can also impress your friends with your expert cooking skills at “Friendsgiving”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Friendsgiving, it is the celebration of Thanksgiving dinner with your friends. This usually occurs a week or two before Thanksgiving. I’m going to show you how to make an amazing Green Mean Bean Casserole that everyone will love… except for green bean haters. It might seem hard, but in actuality it’s quite simple!
First you’ll need just five simple ingredients:
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 1⁄3 cups French-fried onions
First off start by combining the cream of mushroom soup, milk and pepper in a baking dish. Stir until it is completely blended. Then stir the beans and 2/3 cup fried onions into the baking dish. After it is mixed together, place in the oven to bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir it a little. Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup fried onions. Bake 5 more minutes or until onions are golden on broil.
There you go! You have an amazing green bean casserole that everyone will compliment. They’ll all have expected you put a lot of time in effort into making, but you don’t have to ruin the magic by telling them it was quite simple. Enjoy and eat well!
