I recently read an article from the New York Times about Pinterest, and how uplifting the inspirational quotes can be. I know that there are some people who think that this website is a complete waste of time (mostly guys). However, in this blog post, I am going to point out how Pinterest can be useful for everyday life.
Aside from planning your imaginary wedding that might not ever happen, there are a plethora of categories that can be valuable to different professions. One major profession that has a multitude of posts and boards is teaching. My mom is a 6th grade teacher, and I know that whenever she needs a new and creative idea for her classroom, she hops on Pinterest and is inspired by something a teacher posted in a completely different state (and maybe even country).
There are so many delicious recipes on Pinterest, and I know many people who make a “Pinterest” dinner. It is a great website to find something unique to eat for any holiday, or just an ordinary day. Personally, I like to use it to find healthy recipes. I am a runner, and there are always people posting recipes for different athletes.
And of course, I use it to inspire my wardrobe. This may sound trivial, but being well-dressed is important to me and many other people. Whenever I need an outfit for a specific event, I go on Pinterest and see if anything jumps out at me.
Basically, Pinterest is one big inspiration hub. Instead of scouring the Internet for different recipes or easy-fixes, it is all in one place. Now go start pinning!
