Biography

Matthew W. Seeger is a professor of communication at Wayne State. His work on crisis communication include Effective Crisis Communication (2007), Theorizing Crisis Communication (2014, 2020), Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (Second Edition, 2015), Narratives of Crisis: Stories of Ruin and Renewal (2016) and the International Handbook of Crisis Communication (2016).
