Recommended Zoom Settings

  1.  Please leave mics and cameras muted and feel free to use the chat feature for questions and comments.
    .
  2. Move your cursor down to the bottom left of your screen where you should see the video camera icon. There will be a red line through it, signifying that your camera is turned off. You don’t need to turn your camera on, but click on the small arrow just to the right of the video camera and select video settings. This will open a pop-up menu. Make sure Hide non-video participants is checked. This will ensure that you’re always able to see the camera feed of the person presenting.
    .
  3. When a presenter is sharing their screen, take your cursor up to the top of your screen and click on View Options and select side-by-side mode. That will keep the video screens from blocking your view of slides that are being shared.

These settings will ensure you have the best possible view for each presentation throughout the course of the conference.
