Jessica Delgado is an Associate Teaching Professor of Communication at Florida International University, whose current research is focused on diversity, inclusion, and communications.

Amber is an assistant professor in the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity at SUNY-Albany. Her research examines risk and crisis communication in the context of severe weather.  

Ron is a professor of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University specializing in maritime traffic and risk analysis, the Associate Scientific Director of the MEOPAR network, and co-lead of the CORC Community of Practice.  

Joel is a climatologist with Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Dept of Geography. His research interests include climate adaptation, marine hazards, and weather risk communication.  

Cindy coordinates the Coast and Ocean Risk Communication Community of Practice for the Marine Environmental Observation, Prediction, and Response Network, a Canadian research network funded by the National Centres of Excellence.  

Md Khadimul Islam is an award-winning news reporter. He is a Ph.D. candidate in communication at Wayne State University. His research interests include risk, crisis, and health communication.
