Hollis Wilder was a contestant on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and has opened 2 shops: One in Orlando and the other in Jacksonville. This “sweet”- pun intended, shop is called:
Sweet! by Good Golly Miss Holly and it’s located in the Waterford Lakes Plaza.
I heard of this place because on Monday’s, I always hear these girls in my class saying they’re $1.00 mini cupcakes. I had asked one of the girls and she informed me that on Monday’s, they have a special called Mini Monday’s, where they give away mini cupcakes for just $1.00! I went (not on a Monday) but on a Saturday and was super excited to check this place out!
When you walk in, it kind of has a Johnny Rockets vibe, with red booths you can sit at. They have huge cupcakes and mini ones too. Not only do they have cupcakes but they also have frozen yogurt (Menchie’s set up). It’s super cute!!
Some of their cupcakes include: Banana (my fave!), Boston Creme, Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Strawberry, Cookies n Cream, Nutella, Tiramasu, S’mores and so many more! TIP: (if you click the link, it explains all the cupcakes and how they’re made!!)
They even make vegan and gluten free options that include: Banana Pudding, Mudslide, Cookiedough, Red Velvet, Rocky Road, White Chocolate Mocha, and many more!!
To add to their amazingness they even make cake! They deliver and they always do specialty cupcakes, which means they can put a logo on it or anything you’d like for the cupcake to say! I found out about this one specialty cake that they call “Queenies” and it’s a 4 inch cake they create however you like it and it’s just for $35.
I was super excited that I found out about this place because every day they have new, original, unique, great tasting treats!!! Tip: Go in the morning because that’s when they have the best ones!!!
You should check it out next time you’re in the area!! There something there for everybody so no one is left out! You’ll come out leaving Sweet satisfied and wanting more (:
