Is the movie Slumdog Millionaire a movie worth seeing? If eight Oscars do not help answer that question, then I will outright say that for anyone who likes movies, Slumdog Millionaire is a must see. This story about a boy who rises from the slums of India and wins millions on the game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” is an amazing tale of the hardships this character must face in order to survive in the world. With flashbacks of horrible incidents in his life, the audience comes to feel for Jamal, the main character, and the hardships he must face.
Not only does this movie have a great story, but the cinematography is outstanding (perhaps that is why the movie was awarded so many Oscars). Tilted frames and hand-held camera chase scenes help to communicate the chaos that is sorrounding the tumultuous journey of this boy, his brother, and a friend named Latika. I highly reccomend this movie to anyone who enjoys watching a films that closely resemble cinematic perfection.
