Biography

Matt Tidwell, Ph.D., APR is the assistant dean for graduate and professional studies in journalism and mass communications at the University of Kansas. He teaches in KU’s Homeland Security graduate program. Matt worked in marketing communications and served in senior communications leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies. He teaches and conducts research in crisis communications.
