Mobile learning and how it is used today

Mobile learning is a great way to get what you need when you are on the go. Mobile learning can mean many things to different people. To me, mobile learning is what we do everyday. Everyday we log in to Facebook to “learn” what people are up to and what they like. Everyday people log in to ESPN to “learn” what their favorite team is up to. No matter how you look at it, you are learning something new with the internet everyday. And the internet is mobile, very mobile. Now when I say learning in the sentences before, I think we can agree what the definition of learning is. Learning is finding something out new that you have never known before. So when you go online to Facebook, you learn they Sally and Sue are going to the beach today. You didn’t know that til right when you read it.

Now if you can’t really grasp the concept above, I have another example of mobile learning. Anything taken online can be considered mobile learning. One, you are not in a classroom and two, you can go anywhere with online classes as long as you have internet. I have a couple of online classes I am currently in right now. I have taken these classes up to North Carolina and down to the Keys. I took these classes on my vacations. (Maybe that’s why I don’t have great grades in those time frames.)

All in all, I think that mobile learning is constantly used in everyday life. That’s why there is the old saying, “You learn something new everyday!” Now just mobile!
