What to do when my leisure time expires

It’s quite interesting to think of my life in the future. I am aware that I am going on to my final stages of my college years, and need to make some quick decisions as to how I will make money to fulfill my dreams. I am focused on making a big move out Los Angeles, and it will be difficult to do so. The money needed just to make a move out there will be extremely costly. Most likely in the range of $8,000-$10,000. What will I do to make money though?

It’s hard trying to answer that question. Everyone in my position is asking the same exact question, though probably will have a different answer. I am thinking that it will be impossible to make a decent amount of money at a starting position in the field of film, so when I move back home, perhaps I will have to find any job that can help me save up to $20,000 in at least a year. This all seems fine and dandy, but what kind of work will I be able to find. It’s hard to imagine that resume is strong enough to find me an office job that will provide me with the finds I need.

Do I rely on my connections with my family to find me a job? I am proud of the idea that I will be able to make it in the film business all on my own, but I am also aware that a majority of people use friends and family for that initial boost to get them where they need to be in the beginning of it all. I would be leisurely starting out my move back home if I didn’t feel the pressure to be amazing in the film world. I know I can mooch at home for a bit and leave later in life, but I made the big move to go away for college, and I want to go away to start my life. Living at home is not the answer to growing up and being who I am destined to be.
