The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Orlando Area Chapter hosted the 2021 FPRA Orlando Area Chapter Image Awards, “An Adventurous Celebration: Honoring Our PR Superheroes.” This year, due to the extensive and mutually beneficial relationship between the Nicholson School of Communication and Media and FPRA, the Nicholson School was the underwriting sponsor for the event.

The awardees represent the best examples of innovation, planning and design as well as public relations professionalism across the state of Florida.

The local competitions started more than 25 years ago on top of the statewide competitions, The Statewide Golden Image Awards, which began more than 60 years ago.

There are four divisions of awards: Public Relations Programs, Printed Tools of Public Relations, Digital Tools of Public Relations and Student Public Relations Projects. Within the divisions are various categories.

Division A, Public Relations Programs, has some of the most categories. Among them are categories such as Community Relations, Crisis Communications, Public Affairs and Special Events. For a full list of categories within each division and the winners, check out the FPRA website.
