Biography

Aklima Jannat is a doctoral student in Strategic Communication and a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at the University of Central Florida. Her research explores how storytelling in PR content shapes journalist engagement and media coverage, with broader interests in PR content development, media effects, and organizational communication.

She teaches undergraduate courses in Fundamentals of Oral Communication, emphasizing audience-centered speaking, message design, and practical communication skills.

Aklima earned her B.S.S. and M.S.S. degrees in Communication and Journalism from the University of Chittagong in Bangladesh.
