Biography

Walter W. Washika is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and a Lecturer at the School of Journalism, Media & Communication at Uganda Christian University. Currently a Strategic Communication Ph.D. student in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media Studies (NSCM), UCF.

He holds an MA in Strategic Communications, an MBA, and a BA in Mass Communication all from Uganda Christian University, a partial Master’s in Global Journalism from NLA University College, Kristiansand, Norway, and a candidate for an MA in Digital Journalism at Aga Khan University, Kenya.

His research interests include Corporate, Risk, and Crisis Communication, Health Communication, and Instructional Communication on the impacts of AI in various contexts.
