Dr. Kimberly Voss, Program Coordinator of Journalism and Professor has recently published her book Vivian Castleberry: Challenging the Traditions of Women’s Roles, Newspaper Content, and Community Politics. Voss mentions that this book was more than two decades in the making. She adds that, “as some of you know, our son Curtis is named for Vivian’s husband, Curtis – a truly great father, husband and veteran. She was a groundbreaking journalist and just one of the kindest people.”
