Jordan Lipscomb is excited to bring his experience and talent to the Maker Space Manager role at the UCF Downtown campus. He hopes to foster a community of creativity and engagement surrounding the unique opportunities the Maker Space provides.
His path to this role started when he graduated from Valencia College in 2012 with an A.A. and then started pursuing his passion at the University of Central Florida. In 2015, he graduated with a Digital Media: Game Design B.A. and continued onto graduate studies to receive his M.A. in Visual Language and Interactive Media in 2019.
Even though he is Florida born, he has also lived a decade worth of time in two other states; California and North Carolina. Coming back to his birth state to go to UCF was a planned decision to learn more about his passion in video games. In the process, his interests expanded to include topics like programming, narrative, art, design, and physical computing.
