Biography

Rebecca Morales is the director of advising and student services and manages the Nicholson Academic Student Services Center (NASSC). She joined the Nicholson School of Communication in 2009 and currently oversees student and advising services for both undergraduate and graduate students. Rebecca began her full-time, professional career with the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2002 and has worked in Career Services & Experiential Learning, Housing & Residence Life and Regional Campuses. She has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising-Public Relations and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both from UCF. Prior to beginning her career in higher education, Rebecca was a development coordinator for Lighthouse Central Florida, the assistant director of marketing and public relations for G&G Advertising and an account manager working for Bonnier Publishing. She has received numerous awards for her outstanding advising, including the 2015 National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Outstanding Advising Award, 2015 NACADA Region Four Excellence in Advising Award and the 2014 UCF Excellence in Professional Advising Award.
